most famous Rhythms are either common time 4/4 or 2/4 or 3/4.
Wahada Iqaa or Rhythm is 4/4 , we play first strong beat or dom as base note on oud and the other weak beats as tak or high octave notes on oud.
Maqsoum Iqaa is 4/4 Rhythm , we play the first note and the third noire or quarter note as dom on oud as base note and the the rest notes will be tak as high octave notes.
waltz is 3/4 Iqaa we play only first quarter as base note.
other Rhythms like 2/4 are fast Iqaas on oud like Malfoof or Fox.
