This year at OCF I did my best to actually put down my camera and try to enjoy the fair as much as possible (not like me at all). So there won’t be a crazy video with well thought out transitions and time lapses, but I hope this message will suffice. This year at OCF I met some new and incredible people and had an absolute blast (not a surprise) and then I spent the rest of the time with the people that keep me coming back to the fair every year. I am always so humbled and grateful to have the life experience of going to the Oregon Country Fair, practically every year of my life. A lot of people dislike it, or it makes them uncomfortable for obvious reasons, because well, it is a different place. But over the years I have realized that I am a different kind of person that has learned to love and accept everyone, no matter how weird they may get. Cheers to new relationships and new experiences, but also, cheers to the old ones. I met Peter about 5 years ago out at the fair and every year he continues to convince me that he is significantly cooler than I will ever be (and he hula hoops like a G!) Life stands so blissfully still when you are with the people you love. So go and seek out people like Peter. Who knows, they just might be waiting for you at the Oregon Country Fair...
