Nestled in the picturesque Municipality of Pyhtaa, just over an hour's drive from Helsinki. It's perched on the sandy shores and surrounded by a lush pine forest. Here, you can escape city life while taking in breathtaking views of the Gulf of Finland.

What to expect
Each ÖÖD house features modern conveniences like a cosy double bed, a private sauna, a kitchenette, a living area, and a bathroom with a shower — all with gorgeous views! We've excluded Wi-Fi intentionally so you can disconnect and truly unwind. Finland is home to some of the happiest people in the world, and their strong sauna culture contributes to that joy with its numerous health benefits. For this reason, each house at Versso offers a beautiful private mini sauna with panoramic nature views to relax your body and mind.

Getting there
Versso Island is accessible by road (an hour from Helsinki) or private boat. Private plane or helicopter access is also available from the nearby Helsinki East Aerodrome, just 15 minutes away.

Two of our cabins, Räsymatto and Tiiliskivi, are pet-friendly.

Activities
The bay location offers swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, and fishing. For land-based fun, explore scenic hiking trails in the surrounding pristine nature or visit nearby attractions such as the outstanding parks of Kotka on the idyllic east coast of Finland and try local dishes such as reindeer pasta at the Aeronautica restaurant, after an adrenaline boosting wind tunnel flight experience.

“A cozy and classy getaway in the middle of a peaceful pine forest by the sea. Fabulous views from inside and outside. Excellent sauna for two with an equally excellent view. Good thing we visited it during the winter (when the nights are pitch-black), as I can imagine not getting any sleep at all if it had been any other time of the year - simply because (even though the curtains were very efficient at blocking out the light) I wouldn't have been able NOT to watch the scenery changing hour by hour! …what a magnificent place!”
