MEMORIES OF ABERAVON

Описание к видео MEMORIES OF ABERAVON

The tide goes in, and the tide goes out
and the smoke of the Steel works rises above the town
that we were once so proud about.
And children play for hours down there upon the sands,
then all at once it's gone again like an hour glass in our hands.

And my memories are set back in time once more,
and the clock ticks on and that clock ticks on.

And The Lido was so much fun back then,we'd swim for hours on end, and then off down for Francos chips what a lovely time we'd spend.
Trips along the promenade were so much fun for us,
spending time with special friends on an Aberavon open top bus.

And my memories are set back in time once more,
and the clock ticks on and that clock ticks on.

We'd stay for hours on the sands, with lots of things to do,
And then forget to protect ourselves, and go home sunburnt through.
And who cannot forget dear old Uncle Bryn who entertained us everyday,
Such a happy special time for us,there's really not much more to say?

And my memories are set back in time once more,
and the clock ticks on and that clock ticks on.
