Prashnottari, a fortnightly (now bi-weekly) quiz programme, with participants from schools, colleges and the general public as the television audience, was first telecast on Prasar Bharti's Jaipur Doordarshan Kendra on July 23, 1993. It has been included in Limca Book of Records as the LONGEST running televised Quiz Show. Hosted by former IAS officer, Dr. Mahendra Surana since its inception, the quiz touching on various diverse topics, completed more than 700 episodes, as on June 30, 2017. Surana is the show's script writer too. The show is produced in-house.
