Remembering Zaha Hadid

Zaha Hadid believed in the work ethnics, that everybody should work extremely hard every day. Architecture to her was "an addiction." It's also what we strive and live on, she said, it's the creative process.

The ground floor area of Zaha-designed SOHO China projects totals 1.37 million sq meters (14.7 million sq feet). In the more than 10 years we have worked with Zaha, she has left an indelible mark on China's urban landscape, and also on our company.

As we mourn the loss of a genius architect, we also celebrate the unique foundation that Zaha has laid for the world of architecture, and the creative energy that lives on.
