Feeling of numbness per se to the aesthesia would be upto say 3 hours from any anaesthesia give for the procedure, but numbness per se is not a good sign. Once the anaesthesia wears off, you are supposed to feel a little bit of pain for which we will be giving you medicines. But per se the numbness in that is not a good sign. It could mean that the nerve is compressed. So you don’t look for numbness. So basically there will be numbness that is related to the aesthesia that will generally wear out in 3 hours.
