It signaled a new era in off line controls testing, as for the first time, emulation models could be run faster than real time, and yet remain in perfect sync with the control system timers. We've now extended that technology to the much more widely used ControlLogix 1756 L72 PLC, bringing the advantages to a larger group of users. You can now run your production control logic within the Emulate3D Controls Testing SoftPLC and be sure that it is completely synchronized with the model. No more communication delays or doubts about the validity of the implementation - you can start and stop the controller or the model at any time and be assured that both components have stopped at exactly the same instant, providing you with the most reliable test bed available.

Your production ladder logic runs in the embedded SoftPLC and you can run the model in real time, in accelerated mode, or in step by step mode, or slower than real time. Stop the model when you need to check register values, then start again from where you left off.
