The story of the Six-Triple 8 is about the first Black Battalion of women to be sent overseas. They sorted through 3 years of mail in London and France and cleaned the backlog in 6 months at each location. They were never recognized, but in 2022 they were presented with the Congressional Gold Medal of Honor by Congress.
