On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, the Chinese-English bilingual documentary Post-80s in the UN, jointly produced by the SMG International and UN Department of Global Communications, held its global premiere at the UN Headquarters in New York.

As a key component of the UN’s 80th-anniversary commemorations, the premiere was attended by senior United Nations officials, as well as media and non-governmental organization representatives.

From Kiribati to Kenya, Sri Lanka to Gaza and New York...

Over nearly a year, SMG’s production team traversed Asia, Africa, Oceania, and the Americas, embedding with frontline operations of UN agencies including UNHCR, OCHA, UNDP, UNODC, and the Department of Peace Operations, to showcase the UN’s multilateral coordination mechanisms in action.

The documentary will be broadcast through the United Nations’ official platforms, reaching audiences in over 190 countries and regions. On September 22, the film will premiere on ‌Dragon TV‌ and simultaneously air on ‌Kankanews‌ and ‌ShanghaiEye‌ international communication network.
