The Biggest Lesson That I Learned About Being an Art Teacher

Hi! My name is Katie Jarvis and I am a K-6 Elementary Art Teacher at a title one school just outside of Washington, D.C. In this video, I share several stories of hard lessons I learned about being an elementary art teacher. Many of the stories focus on my first few years of teaching and school life outside of the art room. I give advice on what is most important about being an art teacher.
