I love my town. I’ve been a Hoboken resident for 20 years and know I’ve got many more ahead of me so I’m extra proud of the program I collaborated with last night. I was HIRED by the Hoboken Business Alliance in honor of Art Month to teach a FREE alcohol ink workshop at the public library. You read that correctly. Free public art classes + supporting local artists financially. Can I get a helllls yeah, please? As expected there was a big demand to register. The initial 10 spots filled up in only a few hours and a waitlisted started. The HBA came back to me and we raised the participation limit to 15 spots. I love this for Hoboken. I love it for the residents. I love it as a model for public art programming. And of course, I love this for artists who deserve to make a living off of their skills and dedication. Thank you HBA for the opportunity to participate in such an amazing program and thank you to all the beautiful artists that came to create w me. Can’t wait to see what else we can do together!
