[Product Review] SwampFox Tomahawk 1x8 Etched Reticle Optic.

•Went up to the Franklins on the NM side yesterday to do a little shooting and review on my new 1x8 Optic by SwampFox from Brownells.

•I got to do some shooting with it from a "higher angle elevation" at about 200yds, which it did phenomenally at.
It was nice and cloudy with alight breeze and high of about 85°, which made it easier to see at distances. Compared to a sunny, 90°+ day where the hear haze can mess with your distances.

•I also took out my Cuban Grey Lizard to see how it would fare in an Arid Environment. I had a bunch of dudes ask me about it from the post of when I was in the Lincoln National Forest.

•The Grey Lizard was about 50/50 in this environment, it worked the half of the time when I was among the rocky areas and then the other half when I was in the dry vegetation it didn't really work due to its darker colors.

•My kit was very basic:

¤RRV
¤LL Bean Continental Rucksack with med-kit, food and 24hrs water.

•All in all a good afternoon out testing gear and enjoying some 'cooler' weather.
