Описание к видео Thinkware Q200 2CH Dash Cam Review | Pros and Cons

The Thinkware Q200 which is a 2K 1440p @30fps dash cam. This compact little device promises some exciting features, we are going to review the footage, the thermals and everything else so let’s dive right in.

First off, let’s talk design. The Q200 is sleek, minimalistic, and won’t obstruct your view. Installing it is a breeze – just stick it to your windshield, connect the power cable, and you’re good to go.

The app is another upgrade now you are using the same app as you would for the more expensive U3000. Connect via Wi-Fi, adjust settings, replay videos, and even download footage directly to your phone. It’s intuitive and user-friendly.

Now, my favorite feature – safety camera alerts. The Q200 keeps you informed about speed traps and red-light cameras. Which I think other dashcam manufactures should really start implementing as this is the main feature why I keep Thinkware cameras on my car.

But here’s the catch: video quality. While the Q200 has 2K QHD resolution, it doesn’t quite deliver the wow factor. Let’s take a look at some footage.

Pros:
Compact and Minimalistic Design: The small form factor of the Q200 makes it unobtrusive and easy to install without obstructing your view.
User-Friendly App: The well-functioning THINKWARE DASH CAM LINK App enhances user experience by allowing seamless control, video playback, and settings adjustments via Wi-Fi.
Safety Camera Alerts: The inclusion of speed and red-light camera alerts helps drivers stay aware of potential traffic violations and enhances overall safety.

Cons:
Video Quality: While the Q200 offers 2K QHD resolution, it falls short in delivering exceptional video quality. We’ll examine the footage to assess this further.
Separate GPS Antenna: The absence of a built-in GPS antenna is a drawback. Integrating it directly into the dash cam would have been more convenient.

In the end, the Thinkware Q200 is a solid choice for everyday drivers. Just remember, – safety features or top-notch video quality? Than there is the Thinkware U3000 which delivers both worlds but at a cost.

Thanks so much for watching
