Everything looks bleak, until he makes new friends. Neena and Tiger win his heart. They and the other animals understand how special he is.
Appu fights the urban jungle system where animals are caged, and never let out. Some are even drugged to the point they live in a perpetual daze!
Breaking free from clutches we create for ourselves, or the ones we are trapped in, takes immense courage! Though just a young calf, Appu is far ahead for his years. He fights his own inner-demons as he helps others fight theirs...
He shows his friends that the strength to fight fear, mistrust, and self-doubt lies within. All the toxic stirrings and the whirl winds they feel inside can easily be defeated.
It doesn't stop there... Our young hero constantly discovers his Yogic powers throughout season- 1. He is a telepath, a clairvoyant and he can teleport. They all come to fore at times of severe crises...
There is only one thing that is stronger than all this yogic powers combined, his undying love for Neena and Tiger.
Neena is a one-of-a-kind six year-old. Nothing can stop her from venturing into the forests. She loves nature. She often slips into the Upvan jungle with Tiger. She is first alarmed when she sees a speaking elephant, but quickly gets over it and makes friends with him.
She knows that he is not like other animals... There is something special about him. She takes him home... The perilous urban jungle where no wild animal can stay hidden...
She and Tiger keep their jumbo secret, but not for long. She tearfully watches Appu being driven away to the zoo. She runs after the van in vain. Do you think that was the end of it? She wouldn't give up that easy...
Tiger joins her as a partner in crime and sets off to the zoo. Poor little fellow, he hurts his paws! They all return home to safety. Neena learns that she has a little brother!
Things change constantly in the lives of these friends. They meet new people. They encounter new challenges. They brave through tough storms.
Appu-- The Yogic elephant is a power-packed family entertainer. It dives right into the depths of what's hurting humanity as a whole, and what could be a possible cure. There is nothing that yogic breathing, empathy and self-confidence cannot achieve.
