FGS BRAUNSCHWEIG is a Braunschweig class corvette of the German Navy and is the lead vessel in that class.

As the ship approached Tower Bridge, it started to play "London Calling" by The Clash.

It was launched on 19th April 2006 and commissioned on 16th April 2008.
