A deaf nun named Sister Agnes Sasagawa received three urgent messages warning humanity about future trials. The statue wept 101 times between 1975 and 1981 and scientists confirmed the tears were human. Bishop John Shojiro Ito approved the events as supernatural after years of investigation. Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger later affirmed the credibility of the messages.
