This brief video demonstrates a current Bug that seems to have been introduced with the Nov.23 hot-fix update. Secondary weapons, such as the machine gun in this video, appear to only do a capped amount of damage within an allotted time. In this case, I'm able to kill 4 aliens w/ 1 full clip of the Imoogi machine gun, and then it starts doing zero damage. Finally about 3 minutes later it will do damage again, and kills another ~3 aliens before starting to do zero damage again.
People have also observed that the same bug will occur with primary weapons, but the damage cap appears to be much higher, and the recovery time is shorter.
I'm suspicious that this has to do with the "bug fix" in this update that was meant to stop a known hack.

Apologies for the poor audio balance. I did live commentary, but you can't really hear me. Fortunately, the commentary isn't really critical.

Since the audio is poor, here are the key spots:
(0:47) I was able to kill 4 aliens with my machine gun.
(1:10) it shows the machine gun doing zero damage to a couple aliens for multiple clips.
(1:56) still doing zero damage.
(3:29) Machine gun started working again and killed 3 aliens before it stopped doing damage.
(3:43) zero damage again after reloading.
