Nic Von Rupp embarks on another unforgettable adventure together with local star Luca Guichard as he uncovers the lesser-known surf treasures of Faro islands, in Southern Portugal to uncover the magic of Levante-generated waves. Formed after southerly strong winds push Mediterranean swells through the Gibraltar strait, fueling its power towards Portugal’s south coast, the Levante waves spread warm water, fun rides and good vibes to Faro’s sandy islets. Unlikely surf sessions in an otherwise placid stretch of coast. Alongside the perennially stoked Luca Guichard, the pair showcase their talent in these playful waves, besides enjoying the picturesque old town of Tavira, swimming under secluded waterfalls and sharing the stoke, the laughter, and the pure joy of Algarve’s hidden gems.
