As hijab row intensifies in Karnataka and college campuses turn into rivalry grounds, students in several colleges were seen marching into campuses with saffron shawls, chanting Jai Shri Ram slogans in order to protest against hijab wearing female students. In some colleges, they were allowed entry with their hijab on, but were made to sit in separate classrooms. In a college, Dalit students came out in support of hijab but were confronted with students from the ABVP.
