A dedicated and passionate Chicago woman, Ginny Siano-Eck, tells her story of establishing a successful dance studio in a small Upstate South Carolina town. Her adventure weathers business ups and downs for over 25 years. She extends recognition for her students and studio while enriching and entertaining local audiences through the "art of dance".

In the beginning, she doesn't know if there will be enthusiasm for such a venture but sets out to generate local interest in her vision. Overcoming challenging obstacles, she obtains funding, local support, and her own studio space. As artistic director and owner of a successful dance studio, she weaves together engaging performance opportunities at a variety of venues where her dancers and instructors can showcase their skills before live audiences and experience that indescribable magic of “Performing Dance”.

As a former dancer herself, Ginny's perseverance and determination demonstrate a passionate love of dance, enthusiasm for seeing her dance students thrive and grow, and hopefully answers for us the underlying question, "Can you make a career from dance?"
