Many top companies struggled to grow sales and profits in the latest quarter, with 17 out of 42 companies failing to increase sales and 22 missing profit growth. Even the top 10 companies by weight showed negative growth, pointing to weak short-term earnings. However, yearly growth looks better 📊, which is good news for long-term investors. The short-term market movement depends largely on upcoming quarterly results.

The India-US tariff situation is causing some noise and volatility 🇮🇳🇺🇸, but long-term relations and growth prospects remain strong 🚀. The Nifty 50’s current PE ratio is around 21.8 — within a fair valuation range ⚖️ — signaling the market is fairly valued, not undervalued. Profit growth will be key to support prices.

Institutional investors show Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) consistently buying 🛡️, which helps stabilize the market, while Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have been selling recently, signaling short-term caution ⚠️. Technical charts show strong long-term support with mixed indicators 🏛️, aligning with this cautious outlook.

In summary, short-term traders should be careful due to volatility and tariff uncertainty 🔍. Long-term investors should keep SIPs ongoing and consider gradual investments, especially if valuations become more attractive.
