Global crop protection products manufacturer UPL on Tuesday reported 28.4 percent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 814 crore, slightly lower than analyst expectations of Rs 831 crore.

Net profit stood at Rs 633 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
