Ninglian Expressway is an expressway between Jiangsu Province and Anhui Province. The Chengqiao Hub to Songtiao Interchange is part of the Changshen Expressway, the Zhangdian Hub to Chengqiao Hub is part of the Nanjing Ring Expressway, the Huai'an South Hub to Huai'an West Hub, the Zhangdian Hub to Liuhe South Hub and the Huai'an South Hub to Huai'an West Hub are also parts of the Yanluo Expressway, the Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway and the Huaixu Expressway respectively. The starting point is located at the Zhangdian Hub and the end point is located at the Songtiao Interchange, which is connected to the Lin Expressway. The Huai'an to Lian The Yungang section (also known as the Lianhuai Expressway) was originally part of the Ninglian Highway. The Nancheng to Songtiao section was opened to traffic on November 18, 1995[1], the Lianyungang section was opened to traffic on October 8, 1996[2], and the entire line was opened to traffic on November 18, 1996[3]. It is 113 kilometers long and was completed on November 27, 2000.[4] The Nanjing to Huai'an section (also known as the Ninghuai Expressway) is 209.6 kilometers long and was opened to traffic on December 18, 2006[5].
