Ambulant is a walking-based artwork by Barbara Lounder, with contributions from around the globe. It was created for the conference Drifting Bodies / Fluent Spaces hosted in Guimarães, Portugal from July 22-24, 2020.
By walking through zones of vulnerability and risk during the COVID19 pandemic, the quotidian markers of anxiety, disorientation, imagination and generosity have been embodied. Participants noted the words, letters, symbols and graphics that now tell the stories of these everyday places.)
