John Hewitt, soulful sounds and stories, Part 1

Описание к видео John Hewitt, soulful sounds and stories, Part 1

Edmonton-based musician John Hewitt is a seasoned storyteller and multi-instrumentalist, known for blending influences from classic artists like Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Neil Young. Originally from Sault Ste. Marie, he moved to Alberta in 2018 and has since made a significant impact on the Western Canadian music scene, performing over 150 shows annually across North America. Whether playing solo or with his band, The New Americans, Hewitt’s work ethic, prolific output, and heartfelt performances set him apart in today’s music landscape.

We got the chance to see, first hand, how seasoned a performer John is when he performed a set in the Commodore's super intimate setting with a bunch of cameras 10 feet away. John puts on a show. Not with crazy antics, or pyrotechnics, but with well crafted songs and a thread of good stories.

This is part one of our two part session. Enjoy!
