💠Steps in the Video💠

♦️Step One: Use Safari or chrome to open YouTube.com

In the first step as shown in the video, I used Google chrome to open the YouTube site at www.youtube.com.

♦️Step Two: Switch to the desktop Mode

To switch to the desktop Mode, after opening YouTube's site, click on your profile icon, then scroll down to desktop and click.

♦️Step Three: Go to the YouTube studio

After switching to the desktop Mode, again click on your profile icon, then click on your channel, select your channel banner. this would direct you straight to YouTube's studio

♦️Step Four: Assess your YouTube settings

Once in the YouTube studio, stroll down to find the YouTube settings as would be shown in the video, then click. Go to 'Channel' the to Your advance settings

♦️ Step Five: Hide your subscribers count

Once at the advance settings, scroll down a bit. Then you find 'Show subscribers count' click to unmark. you are done!


REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD HIDE YOUR SUBSCRIBER COUNT.

The decision on whether or not you should hide your channel's subscriber depends on how many subscribers your channel currently has and As a beginner with about 0-500 or 1000 subscribers it is advisable to hide your Subscriber Counts then when you get to 1000 and above show it.

Here's the reason why

On YouTube, people tends to judge channels based on the number of subscribers they have, just like people judge the quality of a video based on the number of views and likes they have on it before deciding to click on it. While this might se unfair, especially for small channels just growing, it is what it is.
When you have a low subscriber Counts, Chances are when somebody fimds you channel and videos useful and thinks to subscribe to it channel, but he or she checks the subscriber count and they find it to be low say 10–20, they are most likely to become reluctant. They start judging the realibility and quality of your channel based on the number of subscribers your have on it. This is why Hiding your subscribers can increase the chances that viewers will subscribe to your channel. If they found your content helpful. You Want to Grow Your Subscribers Before Making it Public.

Also, as we all know, people love to sign up to something that’s proving very popular with others, we like to follow others like sheep's and a big number makes us conclude that something is cool and reliable.Therefore a low subscriber count may put some viewers off. Not unless you produce exactly the niche content they’ve been looking for. There’s a risk that viewers won’t subscribe if they don’t see how many others have.

Therefore it's advisible to make your subscriber Counts visible when you reach say at least 500–1000 subscribers or you can decide the right number. This is because when your channel has more than 1K subscribers then this shows to people that you are committed to your channel. Because most YouTubers (in fact 80%) Quit Youtube before completing 100 subscribers.

In the Process of Completing 1K subscribers your skills in creating engaging videos improved have been improved. So People think your channel deserves to be Subscribed to.
