PEDesign 10 Lesson: how to split stitches to separate stitch objects😀

Описание к видео PEDesign 10 Lesson: how to split stitches to separate stitch objects😀

Here is the machine embroidery scenario: you have a cute design of a flower and it has two colors. Green for the leaves and red for the flower - let's use a rose. What if you wanted to change some of the colors for the petals? Can you do this? But the red part is all one object, how do you do it?

SPLITTING STITCHES

Enter into NODE MODE (as I call it, but really go to your select tool and use the select point tool) and click on the red part! Boom - you see a ton of nodes!! the trick is to find the connector nodes. Once you find the connector ones, then you can activate that node and right click and select the split the stitches! Look at that, it is done - now you have two parts of the rose instead of just one! Hooah! now you can change the colors and make it look exactly how you want it to look.
