Dome of the Rock Inscriptions are Fakes! - Brother Mel - Dome of the Rock - Episode 1

Academic AJ Deus recently published a paper claiming that the inscriptions found in the Dome of the Rock were actually made in the 16th century - not the 7th as is claimed by Islam. Is this a legitimate claim? Besides the wear and tear that inscriptions this old should be showing but don’t, there is no mention of these inscriptions at all before the 16th century. There were also Christian Crusaders who had control of the Temple Mount for 200 years who would not have left such blasphemy to remain.
