Cities Skylines: Amar City (Part 1) - Planned Desert City

Welcome to Amar city, a lush paradise along the southern coast of Bahrain. Taking inspiration from Arabian high-tech cities and artificial islands throughout the Persian Gulf and eco- and planned cities all over the world, this series will show the transformation of a barren desert into an ambitious oasis through a long-term timelapse build. It wouldn't be the first planned eco-city or manmade megastructure in the area - its case is similar to Dubai's Palm Islands, Masdar City & Diyar Al Muharraq - but it is the first to focus on social and environmental sustainable development. Probably getting way too ambitious here, but in a nutshell it's a fun experiment on how future cities could be built.

And hey, I'm not even an urban geographer, so I'll likely fuck up a lot; feedback is always very appreciated!
