Making Momigami (Japanese Kneaded Paper)

Momigami is Japanese for “kneaded paper.” By kneading paper coated with a konnyaku mixture you can transform it into a durable, flexible paper with a cloth-like texture. Momigami can be used for collage, cardmaking, bookbinding, and many other paper crafts.

To make momigami you can use coconut oil, olive oil, hair pomade, hair oil, lotion, etc.
