Roaring Camp RR#91 Last Weekend of the Beach Train and Narrow Gauge Railfanning

I went out during the last weekend of September to catch the Beach Train on its last weekend. I was hoping ex. Santa Fe CF7 2600 would be the power and what do you know I was right. And to top that off 2600 had a temporary horn, which was her sister 2641's RS3L. I rode the Beach Train to Santa Cruz and then caught it in 3 locations on the way back up to Roaring Camp. Once we got up there I realized Roaring Camp was running a second section, and since the #7 is down getting her axles replaced, that meant that with Dixiana Shay #1 as the first section, ex. West Side Lumber Co. Heisler #3, a.k.a, Roaring Camp Heisler #2, the Tuolumne, would be running the second section. All these trains provided some amazing photography for the day and being able to see so many trains in one day is something you can only get at Roaring Camp. Overall it was a great day to photograph trains and soon the Beach Train will run again with the Holiday Lights Train.
