Coach Steve brought the classification of all saves down to either blocking or reacting back in the 90's. We discuss them in detail and what the implications are in your game. We discuss the "save illusion" and how you need to determine where your reactive zone is for your level and ability. We deliver a fascinating drill where the goalie reacts without a puck purely based on the visual clues garnered from the stick relationship to the invisible puck and related shot release cues.

We also show the exact drills Hasek used when Mitch Korn coached him to his first Vezina trophy using the screen board. Mitch created prop based training and before you poo - poo note has coached 3 Vezina winners with the props and won a Stanley Cup.
