Positioned at a 45-degree angle, with the pipe remaining stationary while the welder maneuvers around it, the 6G position demands mastery of technique, unwavering focus, and an acute understanding of metallurgy.

The heart of welding mastery lies in technique, particularly when it comes to executing consistent root and cap welds in the 6G position.
