International Sunday | The History of the World | 14th July 2024

This sermon briefly covers the History of the World, taking in the Tower of Babel, the Day of Pentecost, Pauls challenge to Peter on disunity in the book of Galatians, and ends with a beautiful vision of united worship described in the book of Revelation. 

God's perfect plan from the beginning was that humanity would fill the whole earth with a beautiful diversity of nations, languages, and cultures. That each of these would bring something unique in the way that they worship the living God. 

Distinct yes, but united! United by our shared Union with and love of Christ. This is a Spirit empowered bond that brings us closer than any other. 

Lord, thank you for our blessed diversity at Christ Church Fareham, may you continue to fan into flame more of it to reflect the vision of Revelation 7, for your glory!
