Dissemination Research and Implementation Science Seminar (DRISS) | University of Wisconsin - Madison | October 2023

DRISS is an interactive, monthly lunchtime seminar (via Zoom) focused on learning about the growing science of dissemination and implementation research and practice!

Seminar Description:
This seminar will provide an overview of Dissemination and Implementation (D&I) Science that explores the history and value of D&I, key research concepts (such as frameworks), as well as opportunities and resources. This seminar is a helpful introduction for beginners to implementation science, especially those attending the 2023 D&I Short Course.

Speaker:
Felice Resnik, PhD, is an Implementation Scientist in the Dissemination and Implementation Launchpad at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her work addresses two foci: 1) developing knowledge of practices associated with successful dissemination and implementation of evidence-based interventions and 2) design and implementation of evidence-based programs to promote human development, bolster health outcomes, and enhance equity. Felice is passionate about dissemination and implementation research as a bridge to connect science to practice. She consults with researchers across campus to encourage meaningful application of D&I concepts to extend the impact of their work. She received her PhD in Educational Psychology from UW–Madison and her Master’s degree in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.
