Nepal: Dozens Missing as Landslide Sweeps Buses into River, Rescue Operations Underway

In Nepal, a landslide on a highway pushed two buses into the Trishuli River. The buses were carrying 63 passengers, and only three have been rescued. According to government administrator Khima Nanda Bhusal, the three passengers jumped out of the bus and swam to the banks, where locals took them to a nearby hospital. Officials say that landslides have blocked the routes leading to the affected area, and continuous rain has made rescue efforts difficult.
