After decades of relying on the PAMAS and PAMAC, the French military issued a massive tender for up to 75,000 new 9mm service pistols. We explore the selection process and why the Glock 17 beat out the competition. I will also compare it with the most famous military Glock, the 19X, because you cannot get this particular 17 outside of Europe.
