HTC One M8 (Snapdragon 801) V.S. NVIDIA Shield (Tegra 4) on Epic Citadel Mobile Benchmark

There's nothing I love more than seeing two of my best and latest high-end gadgets (HTC One M8 & NVIDIA Shield) going head-to-head in an extremely high-detailed mobile graphics benchmark test: Epic Citadel from the Google Play Store.

They came pretty close, both of these devices are absolute power-hungry monsters.. but I believe the NVIDIA Shield with it's quad-core Tegra 4 processor toke the win with pure high-performance grunt.

Take into account the size differences of these two high-end devices and the native resolutions they're running the benchmark at though. 1080p on the HTC One M8 and 720p on the NVIDIA Shield.. Quite a big difference in rendering.

Neither of these devices were using the full power of their quad-core chips (both CPU & GPU) as this benchmark isn't optimised for quad core at all.
