UP Police Constable Vacancy: The recruitment notification of 41,520 soldiers was released on January 14, 2018, by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. There were 23,520 posts for civilian police and 18,000 posts for PAC. Until February 18, 2019, all the stages of the recruitment, except medical test, including a written test, document verification and physical test were completed, in which, a total of 55,444 candidates were qualified. In total 41,520 candidates (i.e. the number of vacancies of the candidates) were called for the medical test. The remaining 13,924 candidates who have passed four stages were directly excluded from the recruitment drive by the UP Police Recruitment Board even after knowing that the candidates will be out of the medical test and the required seats will be vacant.
