The People have spoken and I have heard their voice, so it's "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" by ABBA which actually appeared on the "Greatest Hits Vol 2" album that came out in 1979. Because it was released on an "anthology" album, Wikipedia wasn't really clear on who played bass on this particular song, but a little further sleuthing leans toward it being Mike Watson. To be honest, it's sometimes hard to tell those guys apart. I wonder if that was a conscious choice on ABBA's part, or if they just happened to get extremely lucky.

There still seems to be some discussion as to who actually played bass on this track Rutger Gunnarson or Mike Watson. Obviously, I don't have any personal knowledge as to who it was, but here are the two links that led me to believe that it was Mike Watson - https://freebasstranscriptions.com/tr... and https://philwbass.com/2014/01/02/the-...

That's probably some slapping you hear on the bass during the choruses, but, for obvious reasons, I could not do that.

I'm playing the Spector Pulse through a SansAmp Para-Driver Ver. 1. The Pulse has had the same upgrades done to it as I had done to my Legend Classic (the sunburst bass) - EMG p/u's (Gold Logo/with Alnico magnets) and a MightyMite HAZ Clone preamp.
