Economies are a funny thing, they're always up and down and before you know you've seen three once in a life-time economic depressions. Something about selling low and buying high, who knows. Anyway, in Stellaris the economy is always fluctuation, so lets add some stability to it by explaining the finer details of some of the zanier things that you can do to it. Please be aware that this was recorded on 2.8 and the Remnants Origin is going to be a bit more difficult to do due to the new influence cost for abandoning colonies.
