L is B stands for "Life is Beautiful". The story there is that I used to live with a great friend, and after watching the movie "Life is Beautiful" together we somehow got into the habit of saying "L is B" to each other at the end of each day.

Fast-forward a year and half and I went on an incredible first date. An incredible first date that led to an incredible second date, and third date, and so on for a couple years. But after that first date, as I was heading back to my apartment, I was hit by an acute awareness of the beauty of life. And I sent a text to my buddy - 'L is B.'

The song is about the memories we all have that remind us that life is beautiful. It’s about cherishing them and sharing them, but even more importantly, giving them away.
