IP (Ingress Protection) Rating Interpretation
IP rating represents the protection against solid and liquid that intrudes into the product’s sensitive part. The following descries the details of the IP coding system (i.e. IPxx).
IPxx indicates the level of protection of product against dust and water. The greater the value, the higher the protection level.
First Digit: Protection from Solid:
 IP6X: indicates that the product is sealed. The product shall be negative pressurized and placed in a sand box. Fulfill the requirement if no dust ingress in the product.

Second Digit: Protection from liquid:
 IPX5：indicates the product does not affected by water jet. All direction of the product surface shall be tested. Water flow rate: 12.5L/min, testing duration:5min;
 IPX6：indicates the product does not affected by strong water jet. All direction of the product surface shall be tested. Water flow rate: 100L/min, testing duration:5min
 IPX7：indicates the product does not affected by immersion test. The product shall be immersed in a water tank with certain water pressure. Immersion depth: 1m, testing duration:30min
 IPX8：indicates the product does not affected by long period immersion test. The product shall be immersed in a pressurized water tank. Immersion depth: 3m, testing duration: 4H.
