I made this as a tribute in Feb 2019. I went digging for the sample because back then it was unknown beyond Wonda's original production, and now it's widely known, featuring on WhoSampled. I went through his catalogue, saw a pattern in what he was sampling, then found it. The melodies were worth isolating, so I didn't add drums, and won't be.

Feel free to spit your bars in the comments if you want to, but I made this as a tribute, to reflect on Cadet's passing and the fragility of life. I still think about these things now.

So if you're an artist and you're reading this, whether rapping or producing, painting or writing, keep going. And if you look in the mirror and the stereotype looks back at you, remember it's never too late to change. You never know when it'll all be over. So start now. And keep going.
