Indeed, older Porsche 986 Boxsters can be purchased for under $8K, and within the Cheap Sports Car parameters. This 2003 Boxster has been nicely maintained and upgraded with Carrera wheels, but remains stock otherwise. Mid-engine dynamics are timeless, and the guys relish the handling, balance, and most of all, the engine noise.
