Valkenburg, Netherlands continues to be one of the most popular gathering places for bank note and currency collectors from all over the world. People from more than 70 countries were in attendance coming from Europe, United States, South America, Asia, the Middle East, the Orient and as far away as Indonesia and New Zealand. Although the world is in an economic recession paper money collectors seem to find ways to continue with their hobby. Money is collected for is beauty and historical significance as well as being considered a vehicle for investment by some. This year’s convention had some great bank notes for viewing as well as information about the world market for paper money collecting and future conventions.
