How to Change Background Color in Photoshop

Replacing the color of a background in post can be used to enhance existing assets that you've shot. Getting the tone of the background right with your apparel or product makes all the difference in making it feel elevated and professional. In theory this technique is very simple. You can use an editing software of your choice but we'll be using Adobe Photoshop. To start, we select the background, add a solid color, set the blending mode of that layer to multiply and then adjust the color and opacity to your liking. Sometimes things get a little tricky so we're covering 2 examples in this video!
