Learn how to blend your hair color seamlessly with these expert color tips on getting beautiful, even color from root to tip.

STEP 1
After you have applied color to your roots and before you rinse, fill your bowl with just a little bit of water and mix it together. If you used a bottle to apply your color, you can just add a little bit of water to the bottle. And if you don't have any leftover color, don't worry—just add some water.

STEP 2
Tilt your head back and apply the mixture all over your entire hair.

STEP 3
Massage vigorously for 2-3 minutes into hairline, scalp, and through your ends.

STEP 4
Once you’re done massaging, rinse thoroughly until water runs clear. Then shampoo and condition.
