HotChillee Cape Rouleur 2020 Full Highlights

Your 6-day cycling journey in the Cape Winelands starts in the host town of franschhoek and finishes at the iconic cape town waterfront.

Franschhoek is situated just a 1 hour drive from Cape Town, with breath-taking scenery, warm hospitality, world class cuisine and fine wines making it the perfect host town.

Ease into your week of riding with a social spin followed by sundowners at Leopard’s Leap Wine Estate on the first day. Day 2 kicks off with an early coffee ride and then an afternoon exploring at your leisure. The day finishes with a sunset ITT Prologue where riders are seeded into one of three speed groups for the rest of the event.

On the three stages groups are fully supported with rolling road closures, motorbike outriders, lead cars, HotChillee Ride Captains, mechanical and medical support. All you have to worry about is turning your pedals and taking in some of the most stunning scenery in South Africa.

The stages range between 100 – 150km per day and you’ll be done by mid-afternoon. This leaves plenty of time for recovery by the pool, fine dining in the evening and sampling the world renown local wines. You’ll make lifelong friends both on and off the bike and, if you’re bringing a non-riding partner, there’s plenty for them to do while you’re riding and many African experiences you can share.
